Purity Fine

Work at Purity Fine

We make reagents that other laboratories measure against. That demands people who care about the fourth decimal place — in the plant, in the laboratory and in the paperwork that ships with every lot.

Production Chemist — Acid Purification

Production 3–7 years
Full time

Operate and improve the sub-boiling distillation and packing lines that produce our trace-analysis acid range, including hydrofluoric acid.

What you will do

  • Operate fluoropolymer sub-boiling stills and sub-micron filtration
  • Own cleanroom packing procedures for PFA and FEP containers
  • Drive yield and cycle-time improvements without compromising the blank
  • Maintain safety systems for aggressive chemistry, HF in particular

What we are looking for

  • BSc/MSc in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • Experience handling concentrated mineral acids at production scale
  • Working knowledge of cleanroom practice
  • Strong safety instincts and a calm head

Analytical Chemist — ICP-MS

Quality Control 2–5 years
Full time

Run the trace-metal laboratory that releases our ultrapure acid grades. You will own the ICP-MS methods that decide whether a lot ships as 1 ppb, 100 ppt or 10 ppt.

What you will do

  • Develop and validate ICP-MS methods for trace metals in concentrated acids
  • Release production lots against grade specifications and issue certificates of analysis
  • Investigate out-of-specification results and drive corrective action
  • Maintain instrument calibration, blanks and clean-handling discipline

What we are looking for

  • MSc in Analytical or Inorganic Chemistry
  • Hands-on ICP-MS experience, ideally with high-matrix acid samples
  • Understanding of trace-metal contamination control
  • Careful documentation habits — the certificate is the product
